DRUNK DRIVING DEFENSE
In Wisconsin, a drunk driving offense is referred to as ‘DWI’ charges, which stands for ‘Operating Under Influence’. In every state, it is illegal for a driver to operate a motorized vehicle, whether it is a car, truck, motorcycle, boat, or commercial vehicle, while impaired by the effects of alcohol or drugs.
Criminal defense law is the body of law that relates to so-called “public wrongs.” Criminal law does not concern itself with disputes between individuals, but relates to offenses against the public order. The federal government, along with cities and states, define and prosecute people who commit crimes that range from minor traffic offenses, to serious, violent offenses, like rape or murder.
Mays Law Office, Attorney Stephen E. Mays, practices in all areas of drug offense throughout the entire State of Wisconsin. If you have been charged with drug possession, distribution, trafficking, cultivation or manufacturing call drug charge defense attorney Stephen E. Mays today for a free case review.
